The PRO models now extended 10-second event buffer—up from the previous 6 seconds—so it captures even more of those crucial moments leading up to an incident. Increased Event buffer

The DR770X Box Pro now features an upgraded 10-second event buffer, matching the DR970X Plus models. This enhancement ensures that event videos—like those triggered by impact or motion—capture 10 seconds leading up to the event. With more context, incidents like hit-and-runs are easier to understand, giving you a clearer picture of what happened before the moment of impact.

New Fleet Features

Fleet managers can now track geofence speeding and overtime driving alerts. You'll have the peace of mind knowing your business is as protected as you are.

Increased Storage Capacity

The BOX PRO models now support SD memory cards up to 512GB.

Triple Camera Protection + Secure Recording Unit

All three cameras are equipped with back-illuminated STARVIS™ image sensors, delivering sharp details in both shadows and highlights through high sensitivity and wide dynamic range. The interior-facing camera features a 180-degree field of view, allowing it to cover both the driver- and passenger-side windows in most vehicles. With built-in infrared LEDs, it ensures clear recording even in total darkness, offering reliable coverage day or night.

Built-in Tamper-Proofing

The DR770X Box is built with tamper prevention in mind. Its main unit is protected by a lockable cover, securing the microSD card and cable connectors from unauthorized access. The cameras are also safeguarded with hex screws, preventing cables from being unplugged and locking the camera angle firmly in place within their mounts. This design ensures both your footage and setup stay secure.

Ultra-wide Infrared Interior Camera

The infrared camera adds an extra layer of security to your vehicle's interior. Its infrared LEDs activate in low-light conditions, ensuring clear footage even in the dark. With a wide 180-degree field of view, it captures both sides of the vehicle, offering comprehensive coverage. The BlackVue app or viewer lets you customize the camera settings, making it ideal for rideshare drivers and fleet managers who need to monitor their vehicles closely. It’s also perfect for parents keeping a watchful eye on new drivers.

Double The Frames, Double The Detail

Recording at 60 frames per second offers a significant advantage. The DR770X front camera captures ultra-smooth videos, keeping details crisp even during fast movement. With reduced motion blur compared to 30fps recording, it becomes much easier to capture critical details—like license plates—clearly, even when vehicles or objects are in motion.

GPS, Wi-Fi, and Optional LTE

GPS: While reviewing the footage, you can track the location of your vehicle on a map, and the video can also display your speed as an overlay. If you prefer not to have the speed displayed, you can hide it through the settings.

Wi-Fi: Thanks to its Wi-Fi capabilities, you can effortlessly link your BlackVue dashcam to your smartphone or tablet. Moreover, Wi-Fi connectivity allows the camera to connect to the BlackVue Cloud via any mobile or home Wi-Fi hotspot or router. This connection grants easy access to files and settings.

Optional LTE: For the optimal Cloud experience, you have the option to connect the DR970X to the BlackVue Cloud via an LTE connectivity module. The module can be connected via the USB port.

Optional LTE Module

The optional CM100LTE module keeps your dash cam connected to the cloud around the clock. Plugging into the DR770X front camera via USB, it provides a steady internet connection and turns your dash cam into a mobile hotspot for up to five devices. Unlike typical in-vehicle Wi-Fi hotspots, the module stays active even when the vehicle is parked, giving you remote access to your dash cam from anywhere in the world.

3 Native Parking Surveillance Modes

By using the included hardwiring kit or the optional B-130X battery pack, you can hardwire the DR970X to your vehicle's fuse panel for Parking Surveillance Mode. When the ignition is turned off, the DR970X will switch to Parking Mode automatically. There are three variations of Parking Mode available:

Motion Detection: Triggered when the sensor detects movement (marked “P” in the file list).

Impact Detection: Detected by the accelerometer/G-sensor (marked “E” in the file list)

Time Lapse Mode: Records continuously at 1FPS. 1-minute Time lapse Parking Mode video = 30 minutes real time coverage. Impacts initiate a buffered Event video.

Built-in Impact & Motion Detection

The DR770X is equipped with a built-in accelerometer (G-sensor) that detects sudden speed changes or impacts while driving. When parked, it also monitors for visual movement around your vehicle. These events are automatically tagged and saved, ensuring important moments are captured. With a cloud connection, you can receive instant alerts and access the clips remotely from your computer or mobile device, keeping you connected no matter where you are.
